Ray Ban Aviators are one of the most imitated sunglasses of all time. They were first released in the 60's for military pilots. The public first took interest in Ray Ban Aviators after seeing General Douglas MacArthur wearing them when he landed on the beach in the Philippines in World War II as pictures of him were taken by photographers for the media. In the 80's Ray Ban Aviators popularity was taken to new heights when the late Michael Jackson was seen sporting them and Tom Cruise wore them in the box office hit Top Gun.
